August 2024 marks the second year of the Art Beats Festival, an international art festival organised by Lancaster University and Sunway University in collaboration with Lancaster Arts. Art Beats is now recruiting 10 student participants from Lancaster University to join its workshops this summer from 17-25 August.
What can you expect?
You can expect masterclasses hosted by industry professionals, hands-on workshops, and the opportunity to collaborate with 10 students from Sunway University to produce a short film on one of the themes of the festival, supervised by the mentor industry professional.
The short films that are produced during the workshops will be exhibited as part of the festival from 23-25 August. You can check out last year’s exhibition online for inspiration.
Entry requirements
- Experience in using digital cameras and editing software.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Experience in working collaboratively.
- A passion for creating art and is willing to take up challenges.
